What I keep. When you sign in with Google, I receive your name and email address. I keep them on a membership list so the journal knows you, and so Alan can approve or decline each request, as he does by hand.
What I do with it. Your name and email are used only for access to this journal. They are never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to send marketing. There are no trackers or analytics on this site.
Where it lives. Membership records are stored in a private database (Supabase) protected by access rules: only approved members can read journal entries, and only Alan decides who is approved.
Sessions. Signing in stores a session token in your browser so the journal can recognise you on your next visit. Signing out clears it.
Leaving. To have your name and email removed entirely, write to cadburysjournal@gmail.com and it will be done — the door closes behind you and nothing is kept.
